Do I need a DuckBox account?
No. Tailscale uses your own Tailscale account or auth key; EasyTier uses your own network name and secret.
Why does iOS ask to add a "VPN configuration"?
On iOS every mesh app, Tailscale included, routes traffic through the system's network extension; the system requires this step. DuckBox only works while you turn it on.
Can't reach a device at home?
Check on the Mesh tab that the peer is online and that the home device is in the same Tailscale or EasyTier network. If it still fails, export logs from Tools → Logs and email us.
Does it drain the battery?
DuckBox is tuned for iOS's memory and energy limits; left on all day it's usually unnoticeable. Large downloads raise CPU briefly.
How do I turn diagnostics off?
Settings → Core → Send Diagnostics. See the Privacy Policy.
